Datem is pleased to confirm that they have delivered a Neptune 3000 CPT System to their new clients.
The CPT System for the customer was designed to be even smaller than the standard Miniature Neptune 3000 CPT system so that it could fit within their moon-pool on the vessel. The CPT Rig was demonstrated to the client and despatched the same day. The system was accompanied by 5 CPT cones in total, 4 5cm cones, 1 2cm and the very latest version of the windows 7 compatible Neptune Control and Data Acquisition Software Suite.

Datem has fulfilled the order of two complete Liquid Additive Systems for client Schlumberger.
The units were delivered to their premises in Aberdeen and consisted of 2 Twin tank, 4 Pump Liquid Additive Systems complete with a Diesel powered Hydraulic Power Pack.
Liquid Additive Systems created by Datem are mainly used in the oil industry but can be tailored to suit any specification. The systems are used to mix additives which are then pumped down wells. The Additive Systems for Schlumberger featured manual controls built onto the unit, but also a Manual Remote Control Panel.
Datem’s machining department has been boosted by the recruitment of Richard Hill.
Richard is a skilled and experienced Engineer with over 15 years experience of programming, setting and operating a variety of cnc lathes and machining centres. Richard joins us from the Drill Rig Manufacturer Terex Halco Bucyrus and will form an integral part of our on-site precision manufacturing facility.
Datem has completed the Penetration Sensor Data Acquisition System for use with the customers Vibrocorer. The completed product was despatched to EGS. The unit features acquisition software running on a Microsoft Windows operating system and uses ethernet communication.
The acquisition software displays penetration, speed and has the ability to store the data every second.
EGS’s Neptune 3000 has returned to Datems headquarters after carrying out 8 years of service in the field.
The CPT system returns to be upgraded with the latest hardware and software. The until will be cleaned up to its former glory and return better than ever.
Datem’s Software Department are pleased to announce that the Neptune Control and Data Acquisition software is Microsoft Windows 7 compatible.
All clients running Microsoft Windows 7 will now be able to install and run the Neptune Control and Acquisition Software.
Following the success of the first Datem LN2 Data Acquisition System, Prior Diesel has placed an order for a second unit. The system features panel mounted touch screen technology using Microsoft Windows and Datem’s Acquisition Software. The system has been installed onto a truck mounted liquid nitrogen pumping unit.
Nitrogen is an inert gas that is pumped into a well bore to improve fluids recovery.
Prior Diesel is based in Great Yarmouth, UK and serves the oil, gas, marine, power and construction industries. Prior Diesel is a distributor for many leading engine, transmission, pump and equipment manufacturers.
Datem’s in-house design team has been boosted by the recruitment of Gary Stonestreet. Gary is an expert in 3D modelling and Graphic Design. He has spent 23 years working in design offices throughout the UK with a number of bluechip companies.
