"My team recently attended a training programme on the Neptune 5000 Seabed CPT equipment at the company facility in Sleaford, UK where we met a warm and friendly staff who were always ready assist once we arrived at the airport, from transportation to hotel suport, it was a great experience.
Aaron Bromley (Operations manager) and Martin Rae (Technician) are very resourceful in the operation of this equipment, shared how the equipment works and listened to questions asked during the training and our expectations were met.
Datem builds its own equipment and have in stock a good quantity of parts as seen at the facility. This is important for us as it gave us the confidence that replacement could be readily sourced and obtained should the need arise.
The equipment is an exception to other seabed CPT systems we have used in the past as it has a user friendly easy to use interface and incorporates the coiled rod system used in ground probe in place of straight rods, hence presenting a compact system that would save time and money when deployed in deep sea investigations.
In conclusion I would recommend Datem Ltd for training on the use of this equipment and the Neptune 5000 for use in seabed CPT investigations."
