The supply voltage should be a constant and clean 230Vac 50/60hz.
We don't offer the supply of winches for CPT systems but we can certainly recommend companies who can.
We can supply up to 200Mtrs of soft umbilical cable with the CPT. For combinded lifting and data cable we have suppliers we can recommed to you.
At Datem we do not offer a rental facility for our products as we'd be putting ourselves in direct competition with our very own customers.
The Neptune 3000 is the more lightweight of the two systems. It has a maximum push distance of 10Mtrs and utilises 2cm, 5cm and T-Bar cones. The Neptune 5000 pushes a greater force up to 20Mtrs below the seabed and uses 5cm, 10cm and T-Bar cones.
The maximum working water depth of the CPT systems is 3000Mtrs.
The geotechnical cones boast Tip, Sleeve, Pore pressure, Tilt and temperature sensing abilities.
The Neptune CPT systems should use viscosity grade 10 hydraulic oil.
Yes. Our vastly experienced and dedicated team can provide great training packages for all of our products.
Yes. Our team provide technical support free of charge to all customers.
This can depend on the area the project is located. We recommend at least every 12 months or between each project.
Yes. Contact us prior to dispatch to obtain instructions and RMA numbers.
The software is for control and data acquisition. It does not include post processing abilities. This can be done using third party software applications.
No, however we do have a database of approved Neptune operators we can put you in contact with.
These instructions are to all customers sending goods to Datem for processing so that your goods can complete customs clearance.

The CPT probes (cones) are the most critical part of the CPT. By performing regular calibrations on the cones ensures great accuracy of your system.
Yes. Any customer who purchases a system from Datem are eligible for free technical support. We endeavour to answer all support questions/queries as quickly as possible to get you up and running again.
The benefit of the Neptune 3000 and the Neptune 5000 are that they are a fully compact all encompassed CPT system. There is no rod stack above the system and as such deployment from small vessels is made simple.
Correct maintenance and utilising Datem for system servicing will ensure the system remains in great working condition for many many years.
